经文｜帖撒罗尼迦后书 1:3

【帖后1:3】弟兄们，我们该为你们常常感谢神，这本是合宜的；因你们的信心格外增长，并且你们众人彼此相爱的心也都充足。

灵修内容

如果要用一句话来形容一个健康的团契，就是：

信心向上长，爱心向外流。

保罗为帖撒罗尼迦教会感谢神，不是因为他们人数越来越多，也不是因为他们的聚会越来越精彩，而是因为他看见两件事：

他们对神的信心在增长，
他们彼此之间的爱也在增加。

这才是属灵生命真正成长的记号。

一棵健康的树，不会只向上长，却不结果子。同样，一个人的信心若真正扎根在神里面，他的生命一定会慢慢结出爱的果子。

越亲近神，就越懂得爱人；
越经历恩典，就越愿意给人恩典。

保罗特别说：「你们众人彼此相爱的心也都充足。」

这里最宝贵的两个字是——众人。

团契不是只爱与自己谈得来的人，也不是只关心几个熟悉的朋友。神把不同性格、不同背景、不同经历的人放在一起，让我们学习成为一个家。

所以，团契不只是：

一起聚会，
而是一起成长；
不只是一起吃饭，
而是彼此扶持；
不只是彼此认识，
而是彼此相爱。

有时候，一句问候、一个拥抱、一通电话、一次代祷，甚至只是安静陪伴一个正在经历困难的人，都可能成为神的爱流向他的管道。

真正令人难忘的团契，不一定是节目最多的团契，而是当一个人软弱的时候，他知道：

「这里有人会为我祷告。」

当一个人跌倒的时候，他知道：

「这里有人愿意扶我起来。」

当一个人孤单的时候，他知道：

「在基督里，我不是一个人。」

这就是教会，这就是团契，这就是基督的身体。

愿有一天，当别人看见我们的团契，也能够像保罗一样感谢神：

「他们的信心格外增长，他们彼此相爱的心也越来越充足。」

记住今天这一句话：

信心向上长，爱心向外流。

今日默想

我的信心今年有没有比去年更增长？

我的爱心有没有随着信心一起增长？

今天，我可以主动关心哪一位弟兄姐妹？

不要只问：「团契能给我什么？」
也问：「今天我可以把基督的爱带给谁？」

祷告

亲爱的天父，

感谢祢把弟兄姐妹放在我们的生命中，使我们在基督里成为一家人。

求祢使我们的信心不断向上成长，也让我们的爱不断向外流淌。

让我们不只是一起聚会，更是一起走生命的道路；不只是分享快乐，也能够彼此担当重担。

当有人软弱，让我们扶持；
当有人孤单，让我们陪伴；
当有人流泪，让我们代祷；
当有人蒙福，让我们一同欢喜。

愿我们的团契成为一个充满祢同在和爱的家，使人来到我们当中，就能够经历基督的爱。

信心向上长，爱心向外流。

Faith Grows Upward, Love Flows Outward

Scripture | 2 Thessalonians 1:3

“We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing.”

Devotion

If we were to describe a healthy fellowship in one simple sentence, it would be:

Faith grows upward, and love flows outward.

Paul thanked God for the Thessalonian church, not because their numbers were increasing or because their gatherings were becoming more impressive, but because he saw two beautiful things happening among them:

Their faith in God was growing,
and their love for one another was increasing.

These are true signs of spiritual growth.

A healthy tree does not simply grow taller; it also bears fruit. In the same way, when our faith is truly rooted in God, our lives will gradually bear the fruit of love.

The closer we grow to God, the more we learn to love others.
The more grace we receive, the more grace we are able to give.

Paul specifically said that “the love all of you have for one another is increasing.”

One important phrase here is “all of you.”

Fellowship is not just about loving those we naturally get along with or caring only for our closest friends. God brings together people of different personalities, backgrounds, and experiences so that, in Christ, we can learn to become one family.

Therefore, fellowship is not merely:

gathering together,
but growing together;
not merely eating together,
but supporting one another;
not merely knowing one another,
but loving one another.

Sometimes a simple greeting, an embrace, a phone call, a prayer, or quietly sitting beside someone who is going through a difficult season can become a channel through which God’s love reaches them.

A memorable fellowship is not necessarily one with the most activities. It is one where, when someone is weak, they know:

“Someone here will pray for me.”

When someone falls, they know:

“Someone here will help me stand again.”

When someone feels alone, they know:

“In Christ, I am not alone.”

This is the church.
This is fellowship.
This is the Body of Christ.

May the day come when others look at our fellowship and, like Paul, give thanks to God because:

our faith is growing more and more, and our love for one another is increasing.

Remember this simple truth today:

Faith grows upward, love flows outward.

Reflection for Today

Has my faith grown compared with a year ago?

Has my love for others grown together with my faith?

Who is one brother or sister I can intentionally care for today?

Instead of only asking, “What can fellowship give me?”
May I also ask, “Who can I share the love of Christ with today?”

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for placing brothers and sisters in our lives and making us one family in Christ.

Help our faith to continue growing upward toward You, and let our love continue flowing outward toward one another.

May we not merely attend gatherings together, but walk through life together. May we not only share joyful moments, but also carry one another’s burdens.

When someone is weak, help us to strengthen them.
When someone is lonely, help us to be present.
When someone is hurting, help us to pray.
When someone is blessed, help us to rejoice together.

May our fellowship become a family filled with Your presence and love, so that everyone who comes among us may experience the love of Christ.

Faith grows upward, love flows outward.

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
