经文｜提摩太前书 6:17–19

「你要嘱咐那些今世富足的人，不要自高，也不要倚靠无定的钱财；只要倚靠那厚赐百物给我们享受的神。又要嘱咐他们行善，在好事上富足，甘心施舍，乐意供给人……为自己积成美好的根基，预备将来，叫他们持定那真正的生命。」

灵修内容

很多时候，我们向神祷告：

“主啊，求祢祝福我。”

但当神真的祝福我们之后，还有一个更重要的问题：

“我得到的祝福，要停在我这里，还是从我这里流出去？”

保罗没有说富足是不属灵的。相反，他说神是那位「厚赐百物给我们享受的神」。

神乐意赐福我们，也乐意我们享受祂所赐的恩典。

问题从来不是你拥有多少，而是你倚靠什么。

钱财可以买到很多东西，却不能成为生命真正的保障。所以保罗特别提醒：「不要倚靠无定的钱财。」

钱财会增加，也会减少；
环境会改变，机会会过去；
今天拥有的，明天未必仍然拥有。

但神永远不会改变。

所以真正的安全感，不是“我拥有很多”，而是：

无论环境怎样，我知道我的供应来自神。

当我们明白这一点，手就会慢慢打开。

因为我知道供应我的不是银行户口，而是神；我就不需要紧紧抓住每一样东西。

于是，神把我们从领受祝福的人，带到另一个更成熟的位置——

成为祝福的人。

保罗说，要「在好事上富足，甘心施舍，乐意供给人」。

原来在神眼中，真正的富足不只是：

我有多少，

而是：

因为神给了我，我能够给出去多少。

而我们能够给出去的，也不只是金钱。

一句鼓励的话、一次陪伴、一顿饭、一点时间、一个祷告、一份关心，都可以成为别人生命中的祝福。

神把一些东西放在我们手中，不只是为了让我们享受，也可能是因为——

祂想借着我们的手，祝福另一个人。

当祝福流出去的时候，我们并没有变得贫穷，反而开始经历一种更深的富足：

在好事上富足，在爱里富足，在永恒里富足。

这就是保罗所说的：

「持定那真正的生命。」

今日默想

今天可以问自己：

神已经给了我什么？
我又可以用这些，祝福谁？

不要让祝福停在自己这里。

神祝福我，
不是只让我拥有更多，
也是让我成为别人的祝福。

祷告

亲爱的天父，感谢祢是厚赐百物给我们享受的神。

求祢保守我的心，使我拥有的时候不自高，丰富的时候不倚靠钱财，而是始终知道，我一切的供应都从祢而来。

求祢赐我一颗慷慨的心，让祢给我的恩典不停止在我身上。让我愿意用我的金钱、时间、恩赐和爱去祝福身边的人。

主啊，使我不只成为一个蒙福的人，更成为一个流通祢祝福的人；不只在今世富足，更在好事上富足，一生持定那真正的生命。

From Being Blessed to Becoming a Blessing

Scripture | 1 Timothy 6:17–19

“Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share… so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”

Devotional

Many times, we pray:

“Lord, please bless me.”

But when God does bless us, another important question arises:

Will the blessing stop with me, or will it flow through me to bless others?

Paul does not say that having wealth is wrong or unspiritual. In fact, he reminds us that God is the One “who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.”

God delights in blessing His children, and He allows us to enjoy the good things He gives.

The real issue is not how much we have, but where we place our trust.

Money can provide many things, but it can never provide ultimate security.

Wealth can increase, but it can also disappear.
Circumstances can change.
Opportunities can come and go.
What we have today may not be there tomorrow.

But God never changes.

True security, therefore, is not being able to say, “I have enough,” but being able to say:

“Whatever happens, I know that God is my Provider.”

When we truly understand this, something begins to change in our hearts.

Our hands begin to open.

When I know that my security is not in my bank account but in God, I no longer need to hold tightly to everything I have.

And this is where God brings us from simply receiving His blessings to something even greater—

becoming a blessing to others.

Paul tells us to “be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.”

In God’s eyes, true wealth is not simply measured by:

How much do I have?

But also by:

How much of what God has given me can I use to bless others?

And giving is not only about money.

A word of encouragement.
A listening ear.
A meal shared with someone.
A little of our time.
A prayer.
A simple act of kindness.

All these can become blessings in someone’s life.

Perhaps God has placed something in our hands not only for our own enjoyment, but because—

He wants to use our hands to bless someone else.

And something beautiful happens when blessings begin to flow through us.

We do not become poorer.

Instead, we discover a deeper kind of richness:

Rich in good deeds.
Rich in love.
Rich in generosity.
Rich in the things that matter for eternity.

This is what Paul calls:

“the life that is truly life.”

Today’s Reflection

Ask yourself today:

What has God already placed in my hands?
And who can I bless with what He has given me?

Do not let the blessing stop with you.

God blesses me
not simply so that I can have more,
but so that through my life,
someone else can be blessed too.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being the God who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

Guard my heart so that when I have much, I will not become proud, and when I experience abundance, I will not place my trust in wealth. Help me always remember that You are the true source of everything I have.

Give me a generous heart. May the grace You pour into my life never stop with me. Teach me to use my money, my time, my gifts, and my love to bless the people around me.

Lord, may I not only be someone who is blessed, but someone through whom Your blessings can flow.

May I not simply be rich in the things of this world, but rich in good deeds, rich in love, and rich toward eternity.

Help me to take hold of the life that is truly life.
